About Mykael Roland

Among the many hats she wears, Mykael Roland is a screenwriter, author, poet, and an all-around wordsmith from New Jersey. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at Full Sail University in December 2022 and exercises her skills as a wide-ranging freelance writer and filmmaker. Mykael continues to sharpen her skills with various positions she takes on sets and her words with the blades of many writing mediums. Whether creative or business-focused, her ever-adaptable services continue to grow with her clientele and endeavors. She continues to build her portfolio and expertise with various production, media, and correspondingly diverse companies and individuals in the U.S..

Pinky Promise (2020), available on Youtube, as well as Oil and Rain (2024), which received second runner-up at the Fresh Black Films North event in November 2024. In an effort to change the way things are in place of what they could be, she often inserts her perspective on how we could be living life into her works. Having grown up around people of various cultures her entire life - watching their films, listening to their music, and participating in their cultures - she hopes to one day apply her universal love by molding her biological heritage and multicultural upbringing into her work, contributing to the new path of publishing, film, and television, which is all-inclusive.
